Great hostel - super clean and comfortable. Lounge area could be bigger but it was still easy to meet people. Peter was very helpful - giving recommendations and directions.

This hostel was good. It's right near Arbat which was so beautiful. I really liked the location, only a 5 minute walk from the main area. Super clean and the common room was awesome. I would stay there again.

The bathrooms are too damn small, thought that's not too great a problem. Try the restaurant across from the Chamber of Commerce- its cheap and good . Also there is this wicket ass knick knack shop on the street just north that is the coolest shop in Russia. Its beside a produkti and they make the weirdest stuff. Really quiet to sleep at, no great bars close, but never more than 200 rouble cab away. I recomend

For the price and the location it was good. The sheets and the beds were clean. The hostel has seen better times; the corners and around the showers getting grubby; the blinds broken etc. Would stay there again and would recommend it to not too fussy a person.
Great hostel and some extremely beautiful russian women workers! Had a great drunk time there but they really lack an oven! I will be back to pick up my sleeping bag soon one day! thanks Jack.

Tiny bathrooms, sometimes dirty. Cold water in one of showers, tepid in the other. Some of the staff are surly and unhelpful, one has no English at all. Walls are paper thin and the whole place is shabby. 10 minutes walk to metro, 30 mins walk to Red Square. Internet not free, and expensive 500R charge for registration (other hostel was 100R). Worst hostel I've ever stayed in.
i had a great time at Home hostel - although the people i met had alot to do with it, the hostel facilitated some good friendships.
I have been in many hostels, but this one is the best - pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and russian spirit all around what more can make your travel unforgetable!
I will stay there next time and recommend to friends.
