Hostel Mostel in Sofia, Bulgaria

My 10-year-old son and I have been traveling through Eastern Europe for the last three months and this is by far the BEST hostel we've seen. Great common room, extremely helpful staff, wonderful location. My son wants to travel back to Sofia just to stay here! Shannon, from USA ~ 20th Oct 2009

What a fantastic find Hostel Mostel was. The staff were really cool and helpful and the accommodation, for the price, couldn't have been better. We ended up with a great private room in a cool apartment, owned by the hostel, apartment across the road from it. Every night there is food, beer and pool - all free! Quite possibly the friendliest hostel I have ever stayed in!!! I definately recommend this to anyone passing through Sofia, don't be put off by the big metal door on the street (or the fact that it's moved since the most recent Lonely Planet was printed!), once you get there you will never want to leave!!
