My stay in Dublin was fabulous. The lobby and kitchen staff were excellent-ever so cheerful and obliging. With the inclusion of a light breakfast, its an unbeatable deal. As with any hostel, learn about your roomates, and take care of your things to ensure security. Overall, Mt. Eccles is a thumbs up. sherilyn, from USA ~ 25th Oct 2011

Its a few minutes away from city centre conveniently located for the places to visit. The hostel is an old building with high ceilings. Room had only two beds and a chair with shabby facilities. The sheets were clean but linens and matress were not. Staff was generally helpful. Do not expect any hing from the breakfast than filling ur stomach with bread and butter. It's not bad for a couple of days unless you find a better one. OZGUR, from England ~ 19th Aug 2011

Nice hostel with good facilities that is close to the center of town but not too noisy. No lockers in rooms which was not great but a locker system is there inside a locked storage room. Staff are nice and helpful, an enjoyable stay :) Matthew, from New Zealand ~ 5th Jul 2011

Not a bad place to crash. Friendly staff and free wifi throughout the whole building. Not very modern as far as furnishings but definately great for the budget. Also, the walk back from temple bar isn't very hard even if you are swerving across the sidewalk. Christopher, from USA ~ 18th Jun 2011

This is a calm, quiet hostel for people whose lives no longer revolve around drinking. The best part about this hostel is the people I met. There were great groups of tourists from all over Europe. It's a little out of the way, but worth the trip. Matthew, from USA ~ 7th Jun 2011

spacious airy bright clean dorm room, but no locker in the room. kichen facility is ok but it's in the basement which has a mood of prison. If your room is on the 3floor, probably you'll have a good exercise, especially when you forget to renew your key-card in the every morning. JI AE, from South Korea ~ 2nd Jun 2011

This was my first time to Dublin and Ireland in general. The hostel had great character to it, the rooms were spacious and the staff friendly. There was no daily cleaning service though, we slept in the same sheets and used the same towels throughout the entire stay. The walls weren't very sound proof either but all in all i would still return to this hostel on my next visit. It was within walking distance to all major attractions and i thoroughly enjoyed the people and atmosphere there. Katarzyna, from USA ~ 11th May 2011
