Excellent all around! Best hostel I´ve stayed at in a looong while. I will definately be staying here next month when I return to the city. Good breakfast, solid staff, perfect location, CLEAN, and they had fast computers (that even had regular FB picture downloader and everything) that you didn´t have to wait or pay for, or be limited on. Other hostels should take note. Douglas, from USA ~ 20th Nov 2009

very nice staff, hostel looks new, pretty and simple interior. there is no time to be bored - hostel takes care of its guests and organizes pub crawl, tapas night etc which is great. the street is a bit shady - better don't walk alone at night. would stay there again for sure. The hostel is good, very clean, nice staff. Breakfast is okay, nothing very special. But be carefull with the proposed activities. They might be really different of what you expect when you pay for it. Not sure if i would stay there again. Ingrid, from Brazil ~ 6th Nov 2009

This was a wonderful hostel for the price and location. It was reasonably clean and well priced. I had a single room, so I'm not sure what the larger rooms are like. The walls are kinda thin -- an enormous group of french teenagers stayed at the hostel while I was there and were ridiculously loud and obnoxious at hours of the night. But they're teenagers, its what to be expected. I heard some guy had 50 euro stolen from him because someone left the door open to the room he was staying in, but th Tristan, from USA ~ 3rd Nov 2009

Las Musas Residence has an excellent location with a supermarket and metro station at 100m, Puerta Del Sol at 500m and good and tipical bars and pubs near the area. The staff is helpful and people are friendly and fun. The rooms are secure and everything is clean. The only thing that I didn't like much was the breakfast. There was no butter, ham or cheese. Not a single juice, despite not missing milk bottles... However it was a good time. José, from Portugal ~ 24th Oct 2009

I chose this place largely because I thought it had a lift, but it doesn`t work and the 3 flights up are very tiring for someone with chronic fatigue syndrome (people think it´s my age that makes me tired!). On the other hand, the nice Argentinian guy carried my bags up for me. The neighbourhood is interesting and lively but could be a bit dodgy late at night. Jo, from Australia ~ 15th Oct 2009

Great location, right by the metro station. The area is a little dodgie at night, but the hostel staff is friendly and helpful. Good common rooms, although the kitchen is a little small. They have six computers available, but this is a big hostel with over 150 beds, so you might have to wait in line. And their clear glass shower doors keep things interesting. Overall I would recommend this hostel to my friends.. just don´t expect to get any sleep! Gail, from USA ~ 21st Oct 2009

I recomend this hostal to everyone who wants to stay at a quite place, near to the center of Madrid, near to supermarket, near to restaurants, near to pubs/bars. Everything was nice. Congratulations! Carlos Daniel, from Portugal ~ 7th Oct 2009
