There is no locker in the room so having a laptop can be problematic unless you carry it always with you - which is not very convenient
There is locker in the storage area. The guest did not ask for a locker. We keep the locker outside of bedroom because lockers can make a lot of noise when people pack things early in the morning. Nashville is a town with great nocturnal life. So we desire to create a quiet and peaceful morning atmosphere where people can sleep in. Our check out time is at 12 noon.

The staff was the worst part of this hostel, really cranky and rude. The manager told the guests off, pull up your pants, make your bed. Like a cranky parent. You just dont speak to adults that way. Btw, the family who runs it lives in the hostel. The beds sucked, noisy & uncomfortable. 16 beds & 1 bathroom! No lockers in the rooms for guests. Bad neighbourhood. When I ever go to nashville again I would rather live at a hotel/motel. If you are 2 people you will get it at about the same price. Ev
My name is Ron and I own and operate Music City Hostel. I take pride in operating an independent hostel. I take care to make sure that our facility is in good shape, the hostel staff are courteous and helpful, and our guests are well taken care of. One can get a good feel for our hostel reputation by reading over 90 positive testimonials about our hostel. The writer, appears to be vindictive about something that he was not satisfied and claims that everything about our hostel is negative. The corrections to the Michael's statements are as follows: We have four bathrooms. And I live in a separate building next to the hostel building. We have two onsite boarding staff who keeps watchful eye on the hostel. That is how we provide safe and homey atmosphere for our guests.

I really enjoyed my stay at Music City Hostel. The common area was full of friendly faces. Ron is such a kind and welcoming host -- I enjoyed talking to him. He went out of his way to find a room for me where I could get some sleep before an early flight. Thank you! Emily, from USA ~ 18th Nov 2008
