Nefertiti Hotel in Durban, South Africa

Excellent service here. I arrived a day early on my way down to Aswan and the staff still treated me like I was a guest. Was allowed to take a shower and leave my stuff a day early. Also was very helpful with finding my way around while I was there. Set up a very affordable trip to the West Bank as well while I was there. Would definitely recommend! Location is super, just a ten, or so, minutes walk from the train station! From the roof, you can even view the Luxor temple! Hot water, at least on 4th floor, was a bit limited. Had to step over the shower basin to get to the toilet. That being said, not all restrooms are like this. Breakfast consisted of cereal, small bread rolls, hard boiled egg, an Orange,Tear or Coffee, as well as butter/Jam/Cheese. Not amazing, but a good kick-off. The advertised tour was sufficient. My friend's room's door had troubles with the lock. The door handle/lock was a bit loose on mine, but it still did the job perfectly fine! The hotel was quite clean, despite being the surrounding streets being dirty. The location was conveniently located between 3 of luxor's key sightseeing spots and only a few minutes away from the banks. The entire staff are extremely helpful and friendly! Highly recommended!
