  • The worst experience of my life with a hotel. They lost my booking, the lost the booking of the people next to us in line. They lost the booking for three more groups in my party. My friends and I all stayed at that hotel. In all my group of friends has 6 different booking, all done separately and they lost four of them. In addition the only other party I saw trying to get their rooms there had the same problem and I know they didn't book through hostels.com. I wouldn't trust them EVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • we had so many problems with this hostel. we stayed there fore 4 nights. The staff are not helpful at all, even if they made the mistake. They do not understand any english, so if you complain, they just look at you, instead of helping you. My bedlamp did not work at i told them every day, and they said they would fix it, but they never did. We booked a tour to the great wall at the hostel, and the guide tried to cheat us the hole day. Expect very poor standard if you book this hostel.

  • Pros: Location (close to subway st.), travel agency/trip arrangements, internet access. Cons:Cheapest single rooms comes without a window. Door is non isolating so you can pretty much hear everything what's going on in the hallway..and local cleaning ladies are quite loud so I woke up every morning around 8 when they started cleaning. No shower curtain so you need to use one towel to dry bathroom floor if you wish to use toilet after shower. basically OK for a few nights staying but I wouldn't stay

Practically, Barcelona is a pretty easy city to navigate on foot or by public transport with a well laid-out grid system for the streets and a simple metro system. Here's an example of what you can do with 24 hours and a T10 (10 journey) metro ticket.
