Good location, room's clean and new. It's great for budget travelers who find hotels are too expensive.

Owner is far more concerned about money than he is about his residents...not very friendly or helpful. Internet is not accessible from most rooms. Rooms are TINY and dirty. Do not plan to stay there for more than one night.

Don't get scary by the building's outlook. Inside the hostel it's spotlessly clean with air-con, window and everything else. Staffs are talkative and accommodating too.

Room was very clean and we felt safe once we were locked inside. The rest of the building was very uncomfortable. You definitely need a common room for travelers to interact. Also, if you even had a map on the wall or information about places in Hong Kong, it would make the experience better.

Crappy building, but the room itself was nice. Really small though. If you just plan to sleep in the room, then it's perfect.

booked here, didn't stay here. slip said usa hostel; door sign said kowloon hotel. not sure where we actually were - all hostels in mirador are owned by the same people, they'll put you wherever. small rooms, pipes leaked, you hear every sound. we were gipped out of 1 key deposit (100 HKD). had 2 keys, 2 receipts, my brother lost his receipt. evening staff said no problem, they'll still refund us. in AM the apparent manager denied us. i don't like being lied to. you get what you pay for.

Good location but crappy surroundings, easy to locate &get to from the airport. However, nothing spectacular. Rates overpriced for quality of room. Small cramped humid rooms with no shower fixings, just a hand held attachment which showers over the toilet. Restrictions on hot water times &Air-con use. TV advertised as cable but only 3 VERY fuzzy chanels-hardly viewable. This is our 1st Chinese hostel so have nothing to compare with, but in our opinion this seems an unfairly high rated hostel!

If the building could also be renovated like the room, it would be no faults at all. Btw, it located perfectly in the heart of hk where you can easily access everywhere.

Fantastic hostel, the room could not be better in the area around if you have compared before staying. Thanks for upgrading me to the deluxe room and i will book straightly for that next time.
