I had a great time! Rooms were not the cleanest, but the employees and people there more than made up for it.

This place would have a lot of potential if the rooms were a tiny bit nicer. We reserved a private room for two of us and wound up getting a private room with 7 beds. A little strange.

It was a great value, friendly staff. Location was not walking distance to the french quarter, but st. charles streetcar was pretty convenient (never waited long, the ride was 10-15 minutes). Apparently, location is at the edge of a bad neighborhood, but people said as long as you don't venture into the bad part you don't have problems. There were cockroaches, but in fairness to the hostel, there seemed to be cockroaches all over new orleans. Overall, good experience.

The best location for Mardi Gras just one block from St. Charles Ave...Hate the idea the kitchen closed at 10pm & no internet signal in my room..The Staff was very helpful esp (MIKE) he's da best. The Room was very clean..I def plan to revist

Great location and very affordable. If you're not used to staying in hostels then you may be a bit frightened at first but don't judge the book by its cover. You've probably slept in way worst places after a long hard night of drinking.

Bugs in dorm room. Office closed from 12 noon to 5 PM - Inconvenient. Quite far from the French Quarter.

Not clean under any circumstances. Only nice thing was the "cozy" back yard. Would never go back.

Although I met some interesting people, the bathroom was not always cleaned. Also the room light did not work. Oh well. A good bargain to put your head at night, or whenever you stumble back from Bourbon Street.

The shower did not work. The hostel takes place in the garden district. It is not so bad!
