The people owning this place weren't nice at all. It is cramped. Spend your money at one of the Jewish hostels where they actually appreciate your business. I wish I had.
For the relatively-little sum of money you paid for three nights you simply indeed got more than your money's worth;your three big suit cases occupied a considerable extra space for which we could have charged you.We did not, and yet it seems you expected us to roll the red carpet for you and to receive you with a twenty-one gun salute...!!! Countless customers of our hostel are quite satisfied,if not even happy, with the cooling and heating facilities that we offer besides the free tea,coffee,and hot chocolate that customers can enjoy in our kitchen.Another notable feature of our hostel is the remarkable cleanliness everywhere especially clean sheets,pillow covers, and top sheets.

Here's what I liked about the New Swedish Hostel: -It's very cheap. (I stayed in the 12-bunk dorm room.) -The location is phenomenal. (Just off the Jaffa Gate.) -The staff is friendly and very chill. -Free coffee and tea. The bathrooms are a little small, but they were always very clean, which is the most important thing. Also, I never had a problem getting a hot shower in the morning or at night. Bottomline: If I return to Jerusalem again, I will be staying at the New Swedish Hostel. Kevin, from USA ~ 13th Dec 2008
