The place is really cheap but it is for a reason. It most definitely needs a renovation all over. However, if you only need a bed for the max two nights you need to see the falls this is a good deal. But do not expect great sofas in the TV room (in fact one was broken), nice bath room or beds. The building is right next to the public library which is convient for internet purposes. Besides this the hostel has a public fitness center on the first two levels. However, only residens at the hostel can go the top level with the rooms.

The accomodation overall was good. The room and toilet facilities were clean, as was the linen. Although the beds were old hospital style ones covered in plastic they were suprisingly comfy. The library next dood was good for internet access, and there was a take away across the street, aside from that there didnt seem to be much else around! However we did stay out of season. The YMCA staff were quite friendly. Overall, an O.K experience for the price!

I really enjoyed my staying there, for all those that want to go to Niagara falls i can say this hostel is a very good place to stay!!
