The owners were very friendly and helpful. The hostile is a very good choice for its proximity to the airport. The neighborhood also felt much safer than other parts of Managua.

Proprietor was helpful and friendly. However he may have played a key role in getting us ripped off by the taxi driver he selectd for us...personal friend, as usual in Latin America. Nothing wrong with that, but there was some clandestine wink wink nudge nudge going on between him and the taxi driver before we left on a $25 cab ride....a reasonable rate for the trip involved. The taxi driver claimed at the end of the ride that that was $25 each for the four of us. We sawed off at $50 but we are convinced that the hostel owner was part of the scam.

The staff was very hospitable and even paid our taxi driver when we were short on their currency.

The owner was very helpful about how to get around Managua. I was unwell the first day and she brought me some apple juice and crackers. The location near Las Ameicas mall would suit shoppers!

Had a great time. Food was very good. Pool was refreshing after a long bus ride. Well worth the little extra.

Oscar went out of his way to help. Flagged taxis for me & walked me to the bus stop to make sure I took the right bus. Good & cheap for day trips to Leon & Granada. Not much near but a mall w/ a food court. I was the only guest, but they were so nice to me. Not a place to meet fellow travellers or a party atmosphere. But for a few nights in MGA.

Oscar Fonseca was not there when I was. There was a younger guy who seemed annoyed and bemused by the fact I didn´t speak Spanish. Everytime I asked for help I felt I was bothering him. I did not feel welcome and left early.
