Only stayed for one night and i had no issues, the hostel was in an ideal location, close to Queen street... HOWEVER... was promised drinks vouchers on arrival but they ran out so no for drinks for us :( Everything else was fine, good stay :) Louise, from England ~ 21st Apr 2012

It is HUGE. I found it hard to meet people despite my best efforts, there are a lot of people living there and working in Auckland who seemed to have created a bit of an impenetrable clique. I thought the facilities were good but very expensive e.g. laundry and internet, but the bathrooms were really nice and clean with hot powerful showers. The dorm room was nice enough even if it did have a distinct smell of feet, although that could have been due to my bunk neighbor. Amy, from England ~ 21st Jan 2012

Rooms were ok, although quite noisy at night-time (outside noise that is).Showers were horrendous - freezing cold, if they even worked at all.Staff didn't seem to know what was going on with repairs, even though alot of visitors were complaining about it.The person at the travel desk couldn't help with either of the 2 relatively straightforward queries that I had.Good location though. Good Hostel located near to the city centre! The only annoying part was the small rooftop kitchen in the 7th floor! Anyway, if you avoid the "rush hours", it's a nice place to stay! Eugen, from Germany ~ 2nd Oct 2011

The hostel was dirty and the stuff very unfriendly. Construction workers started in the very early morning. There are better hostels in Auckland just around the corner. I will never stay there. Read Owner Comments Torsten, from Germany ~ 10th Jul 2011
