  • Very clean, huge rooms, and super convenient location (a bit of a walk if you're arriving by ferry/train, but once you're settled, it's easy to get around). The free dinners are great (a bit small and nothing special, but still a nice bonus) and allow you to meet fellow guests. The breakfast is just pancakes that guests make themselves, which was a bit chaotic, but, hey, free breakfast. Note that wifi costs $4/day (while most hostels offer it for free) and doesn't always work very well.

  • Struggled in the 10 person bunk as it was a cool night outside but the room was sweltering. Had to lie on top of blankets and take cold shower several times. Other person in bunk would not let us have fan running because he complained that it was too noisy. Then a group of guys arrived at 4am shouting and laughing. We had no white noise to drown out there 4am partying. Worst night sleep we have had in a hostel

  • It is a very nice Hostel, near to the City. Drinking alcohol is not allowed but the bar is right next to the Hostel. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are tidy. I would come back an stay there for a longer time!

  • The staff was amazing! The room was comfortable, and the location was great, right off of Cuba street which in my opinion is a great and unique part of the city. The only problems were the wifi, it's not free and never works, it didn't matter if I was in the common area or my room, you're better off spending your money on a coffee and using wifi at a cafe, the kitchen was also full of pigeons that would fly in from the patio not making it a desirable place to cook.

  • I'm so glad I could find an affordable hostel which hosts such a dynamic and diverse group of people. Over my stay I made new friends from Ireland, Denmark, Netherlands, Scotland, England, the United States and, of course, an Auzzie. Plus the hostel is so central in Wellington I could see the main attractions by just walking or catching the bus for just $2. The only thing I'd amend is a better complimentary dinner than a simple salad, from next door for Vegetarians/Vegans. Cheers.
