It would be great if the shuttles to the town operated from 6-9:30 pm in addition to the already scheduled times. It's really inconvenient for people that want to go to the city for dinner, etc.

dirty dorm, mouldy food under bed, didn't get cleaned the whole time we were there. Staff not very helpful just said that's what to expect from 10 bed dorm- sorry, but stayed in 10 beds before and they have NEVER been this bad!

Nice hostel but their is a LOT of building work going on next door and so is REALLY noisy!! Dont ex[ect much sleep between partying and builders....

The first room we were given had bugs in the bed,and was very damp and smelly.The second roomwas smallerand it was obvious that the bottom sheet on one bed had not beenchanged as it had several dark hairs on it.the showers were cold three days in a rowand the power points in the room did not work.

Location is a far walk from downtown Cairns but the hostel does offer a free shuttle into town every hour.
Good, fun atmosphere. Lot's going on at the bar every night. Free breakfast & $5 evening meals. Only downside is that is a bit of a walk to the city centre although there is a free shuttle bus running every hour or so.
Does not offer transfers back to the airport and the shuttles to town are unreliable
It would be nice if there wasn't a gap in the shuttle service in the afternoon. The sandflies drove me mad.
