Nostalgia Yasin Bungalow - Hotel

Spend the beautiful week at our private beach; enjoy the sun, the sand and the warm water at the lovely wooden sea house (bungalow). The meals are great and the island in front of the bungalows is tremendous. This is one of the most relaxing places you...

This is a nice but simple place. The food was good and the staff was friendly. However, it is pretty far off. The beach is rather small and the water is too shallow for swimming.

Romantic hideout, best for couples, who would like to escape from the everyday rush. Fine, spicy dishes and try the fresh coconut! Very friendly and helpful staff. Warning: hot water for shower is unknown (it is warm due to the sun in the afternoon)

Great location! Poor little houses in the sea, very nice people, great sea, cheap beer and much young people around.

The bungalow complex itself is humble but is set in a very charming setting with palm trees on a manicured lawn and the rolling of the waves in water that's too dirty to swim in. Facilities at the complex are all right and the staff is EXTREMELY helpful and friendly but it's really just a place to sleep. They have a deal with the rather ritzier Agro Beach Club two kilometers down the road, where the water is clean enough to swim in; I spent my days there using the facilities at the same rates guests at that hotel pay, and was even allowed to charge expenses to Yasin and settle with them at the end. If you're looking to relax, you could do worse. If you're looking to take in all Bintan has to offer, you'll want to stay closer to the ferry terminal on the west side of the island. Both Yasin and Agro are on the east side of the island, and most of the attractions are an hour drive away. However, Agro has a pretty good water sports office that arranged a snorkeling trip for me. It's a good spot for a budget-conscious secluded getaway if you don't mind a little roughing it.

The staff were unhelpfull. The accomadation was filthy. We were ripped off at every oppertunity and besides the stunning scenery, there is no way I would ever return to this place. A waste of time and money. G to Thailand, friendlier, cheaper and just as beautifull
