Better termed a retirement village than a "youth" hostel. I was one of only a handful under the age of 60! Staff wasnt able toadvise very well on things to do,or current events, but they did try to help at least.

Hostel was fine - typical SYHA. No wireless, but we can't always be so spoiled. Only beef was beds - rickety, noisy, and uncomfortable. Beautiful dining room, crap sleep. Lots of old folks - not much youth.

It's been great staying at the hostel. The guys running it are wonderful, cheerful people.
It was very clean, organized, and felt more like a hotel than a youth hostel. I was very impressed. I would highly recommend the city as well if you want calm and beauty. I would definitely stop there again.
