Of course, its no real fun because you only have a room... there s even no reception !!! Double room is very small, I think its a single bed :-S but it seems to be like this everywhere. If you want a good sleep, you better get a twin bed room. The staff is very nice and helpful. Room is also very clean and secure. Good AC and LCD TV !!! Good place to stay... I wish I didnt book at Travellers Friendship Hostel (Mirador Mansion) for my last nights to pay less...

Ocean Guesthouse has nice facilities, very nice and warm staff. BUT Chung King Mansion is very scary, lots of foreigners standing by the lobby, staring at you as if they\'ll eat you.

All the hostels in Chungking seem to be related. So we ended up in a hostel of a different name, but it was the same as we booked so it was fine.

There is nothing flash about this place, but it is affordable, clean, well run, and in a great location. This was my fourth stay at this particular hostel, and I will continue using it whenever I am in Hong Kong.
For Filipino travelers, contact Madel who will give you directions on how to get around the city. Bring your passports at all times in case there is a routine check (for illegal and overstaying foreigners) by the police .
This place has everything you need as a backpacker: clean space, comfortable bed, nice people running the place and safety. OK, not fort knocks but in the Chunking Mansions, this is a great place!!
