- “ I've never rated a hostel before, but this one truly deserves it. Best hostel I've ever slept in all thanks to the 'homely' feeling (it is in a traditional Portuguese house) and the welcoming and very helpful owner Pedro. Thanks for one of my most pleasant experiences in Portugal. Niels Bach Jensen ”

- “ The worst part of travelling is to be in a new city, completely lost. I went by myself to Evora and stayed in this hostel, the manager was so nice and helpful, seemed like he really enjoyed his work. The rooms were clean and the facility itself looked newly renovated. It's impossible I guess to get the "feels like home"-feeling when abroad and in a hostel, but this was probably as near as you can get. I really recommend this place! Glada hälsningar från Sverige! ”

- “ We booked 2 Standard Twin Private and when we arrived we had only a room with 4 beds so we were deceived. The parking 'included' in the price is a lie, because it's not free. The parking is in the street and you have to pay it until 19:30h. So it's free after 19:30 as for everybody in Evora. The breakfast 'included' in the price is also a lie. You have a kitchen, and if you buy something you can enjoy the breakfast in the hostel ”

- “ This place feels more like home than a hostel, in the center of town, with good breakfast included. The owners are so nice, gave us recommendations on a good local restaurant and when I forgot my iphone there and the owner was nice enough to mail it to the nest hostel i was staying at. How nice is that!? highly recommended ”

- “ Great Hostel - The owner is the nicest person in the World! Great free breakfest - try the blackberry jam. Rooms are great and the whole property is very clean. A couple of tips -- the hostel is in a great location in the middle of town; however it's tough to navigate the roads, call the owner for directions if you get lost. Also use the shower downstairs as it's much bigger. Enjoy ”
