Great hostel, no problems. I highly recommend not walking up that hill if you\'re traveling in summer. It is a bit of a hike.

Great hostel. Rooftop restaurant has amazing panoramic views of Qingdao.

We stayed in a double room ensuite and it was expensive. Although the bathrooms have been renovated, it does not appear that a good job was done. The drain emits a sewer smell of varying degrees at all times. The room also needed a good clean. However, the staff were helpful and the location provides for good views and is close to some of the sights. The best bathing beach is a taxi ride away.

The place was not easy to reach from the airport but the staff was way helpful to find a way to reach them. The facilities are nice, the rooms are pretty OK and the views from the rooftop are simply amazing. Check out the lounge, they have a relaxed ambiance and the prices are affordable. I would go back.

When we arrived in the hostel the room (especially the bathroom) was dirty. We complained and they cleaned it directly. We booked a 4 dorm, but we were put into a 6 dorm ('because it was busy'). The location of the hostel is good, near nr. 6 beach (but nr 1,2,3 beaches are better).

The roof top restaurant has a gorgeous view, giant soft couches and quite edable food at semireasonable prices. The location is a little off but close to one of the beaches, although not the prettiest one. Taxis are very cheap so this is not a big problem. The bunkbeds are a little wobbly and make noise as you climb them. I would try a three bed dorm instead. The reception staff is very helpful when problems occur. Their english is ok. A great hostel in all...

Perfect for those of you just needing a cheap place to stay. It isn't a Hilton Hotel but it does its job and is a lot of fun. Not far from the essentials like the beach and Beer Street.

We particularly enjoyed the rooftop restaurant and patio. It's a great place to enjoy breakfast in the morning.

A charming place. Very clean (thank you), and a varied menu in the rooftop cafe, with pool table. Great views on a clear day. Another special feature is an assortment of original paintings on display, among other eye-catching posters, which are really quite good. Though the hilltop observatory location might seem removed, it's only a short walk to the centrally located Zhongqiao Pier. And the numerous stone pathways up the hill add a contemplative, peaceful feel to the atmosphere. Marble tile bathrooms, great hot showers, and an all-around fresh feel.
