Nice place, no real common room though, well maybe the dining room sorta counts... Gotta take points off for no cheese grater in the kitchen tsk tsk :P Each room having it's own bathroom and shower has to be a plus though. It's great to be able to go to 4 bars a night in the temple bar area and only have to walk\stagger a block back home... :) Dawson, from USA ~ 25th Oct 2009

We stayed in room 6 which was just above the smoking area of the st john Gogarty pub smoking area, hence our room always smalt of smoke and it was really noisy (no double glazing) so could not sleep until pub closed 230am kerry, from England ~ 21st Feb 2009

We have been STOLEN during the night. Someone came by the roof, forced our door, took one bag and then went out. We had to change room. For all of this, we just had "We can't do anything without the police repport" which I understand if we speak about the lost properties. But about the choke, feeling insecure, you don't really sleep for the rest of the night : NOTHING. Not even a "sorry" for what happened. Its clean, cheap and attached to the funnest bar in Dublin. The Hostel lacks character but the bar next door has lots. Its pretty secure. The staff are friendly enough but theres absolutely NO fun what so ever. I will always stay here though, as te location couldnt be better! Eddie, from Ireland ~ 4th Jan 2009
