Only one key per bedroom, even if there are 10 bunks, meaning you have to open the door to strangers if you're first in. I noticed a lot of rooms just leaving their doors half cracked so they wouldnt have to keep getting up. Also, only trundles under SOME of the bunks to keep your stuff, so bring a coil lock! Reception does not check your registration when you enter, so anyone can get in. Other than bad security and being really loud (remember where you are!) and hard as a rock beds, not the worst I've seen, but I won't go back there.

While located in the center of everything, it was way too loud at night. I could hear the walls vibrating from the music downstairs, and the drunks talking outside the window. This hostel is ideal for the party crowd, but if you are looking for a good nights sleep I suggest looking somewhere else.

It was a very INTERESTING place with a very pleasant ambiance but it was a shame that the SHARED BATHROOM was not cleaned during the twoo days we stay in.

the place is fine for one night but i wouldn't do more than that. the location is great right in temple bar and next to a lively pub. but the rooms are a bit crowded and not the most clean. if you are a female beware. i was put in a room of 7 men that were all in the same group leaving me feeling uncomfortable without an option for changing rooms.

The security lockers are so small. You'll have chests under your bed, but don't forget to take a big padlock to lock them up. No wi-fi but in the penthouses. The building itself is beautiful and the location couldn't be best: Temple Bar's heart. You're supposed to hand your key on the desk everytime you go out, so the first one to arrive to the room can get into easily but those who arrive later got to knock on the door, waking the others up in case they're asleep. In addittion to a hostel, Oliver St. John Gogerty is a restaurant and an Irish pub too, so you'll find lots of fun (very expensive food and drinks, tho, as in the rest of the places of this Temple Bar area, where they will probably ask you to be 23 years old to get in). It was really clean and comfortable. The only weird point was about the staff: they're not quite nice. Sometimes you almost have to punch the words out of them.
