I had high expectations from this hostel, but they were not met. I had to pay an extra $50 deposit, which was ridiculous, since I could only pay in cash. Also, LA is hot and there was no air conditioning, which was absolutely unbearable at night. It has good location, though. Brandon, from USA ~ 27th Sep 2009

This hostel is all location and nothing else... The hostel is a little weird and if you arrive at night you'll have trouble finding it since there is no sign except on the door and the front jard is not lit up or anything. If you have a car parking is $ 5 a day which is a really good price! The beds doesn't exactly feel clean and there's were poor light in the bathroom. But it was totally ok stay though. The location is great but it is pricey - plus they charge extra for Internet access and parking. The staff was very rude to me when I accidentally parked in the wrong spot, which was not marked \"no parking.\" My room was tiny and at the top of two long steep flights in the attic.
