A little unorganised to begin with, messed our reservation up but made up for it by giving us free internet.. all in all a good place, we'd stay again!

Orange Drive Manor was the best!!!!! The staff is really helpful. The front desk clerk Mark was so funny. While staying there the staff invited us to go to Venice Beach for the day, a movie, and just hang out with a bunch of the other guests. This hostel is one block from the Chinese Theater and the Roosevelt Hotel. We would park our car in the hostel parking lot and walk down Hollywood Blvd.

The location is absolutely fantastic which means the hostel provides really great value for money. The rooms are nice if spartan and lack air-con but this doesn't really matter in hollywood as it cools down at night. The staff were great, especially the Canadian guy. Great for the price

Lockers in every room would be a good addition. Some in the staff are really nice and helpful, taking time to answer questions while other seem bored and do a bad job.

I had a lot of fun. One of the staff people was a little intrusive but the rest of them were very nice especially the Canadian guy was helpful particularly when it comes to booking a shuttle! :-) Seriously, I can highly recommend staying there, the location is unbeatable.

Generally excellent. Could benefit from a table and chairs for eating dinner and better outdoors facilities: BBQ, table chairs.

The communal areas seem pretty small for the amount of guests. Plastic covered pillows and mattresses might seem practical but they are unpleasant to sleep on in hot weather. The room we stayed in was quite spacious and the buildings vintage features are appealing.
