- “ Great location. Parking in the back was nice and $5/day was cheaper than any other public parking in the area, although we were lucky to get the last spot when we returned at night. We wouldn't have been happy to have paid for a spot and there not been one available. Our room was clean. The bed was average, and probably old. People were loud late at night and woke us up in the middle of the night, but overall a good experience. ”

- “ A very noisy place. There are some permanent residents (with little dogs). Often you have to wait till the shower is available. I was treated unfriendly at check-inn. The place is very clean. There is a communal kitchen. The lock on the door of my room was a bit unsecure. Very close at Hollywood Blv - the walk of fame. ”

- “ Location of this hostel is awesome if you want to enjoy North Hollywood. If you don't have a car, don't bother calling a cab. They wanted to charge $25 to go five miles! So plan on being able to walk or take a bus. Hostel was decent - it seemed multiple bathrooms were under construction at the same time so there was limited bathrooms available. Beds were comfortable and kitchen seemed fine but did not use it. ”

- “ It's very good and cheap hostel. The location is soooo good. steps are good, in the morning Big pan cake is awsome!! But at the first time I arrived there, I think I got the wrong one...cuz it's kind of motel..and renovated some rooms to hostel.. so there's not only hostel people.. some people using Motel..so I felt not that safe..sometimes... But hostel is very good for the price!! ”

- “ I really did my homework early on in the planning of my trip, and chose Orange Drive Hostel carefully. It paid off big time! The staff and facilities were everything I expected. The location was perfect for me, because I planned my trip so that I wouldn't need to drive at all. Almost all the sights are within walking distance. For those that aren't, public transportation and tour buses are right there . If I find myself going to LA/Hollywood again, I will definitely book with them. Kudos! ”

- “ Great location, a street away from HOLLYWOOD! Breakfast consisted of oatmeal (with water).. i stayed in a twin private ensuite, which was great. The room was big with a private bathroom. It was a little hard to find.. From the outside the hostel looks like a normal house (like the surroundings), the only thing that indicates it's a hostel is some flag-stickers on the door, which can be hard to see from the street.. ”

- “ Excellent value for money, clean, friendly. Very big and internet connection a bit slow, but definitely recommend this hostel. Right in the center of Hollywood, not too far from the tourist destinations and Hollywood nightclubs. ”

- “ Amazing location. Perfect place to stay to explore Hollywood! As a couple, quiet and clean and food value for money. Not much atmosphere but this suited us. Maybe more party party at the weekend! Helpful staff! ”

- “ The room was unbearably noisy. It was in.. lets say the basement... we could hear people walking on top of us during the day and night...cars were parked at the windows so you can imagine the noise of the engines. The kitchen was also close, if by chance there was a noisy crowd there we would hear them too. None of the three nights we stayed there we got to sleep past 7 am. The hostel and its furniture look old and kind of dirty and only one of the people working there (a polish woman) was super friendly an ”
