The common rooms were clean, but the room were I was was a mess. But that was I think more the people who were in the room..
The blanket was very dirty.. when I made my bed my hands were greasy.... the sheets were clean but the blanket was to dirty.. I was thinking of packing mine own sleepingbag..

Staff is friendly, but useless for anything except taking your money. Internet costs $8 a day, often doesn't work, and the staff has no idea how to fix it or who to call. I paid for 24 hrs of access 6 times in a 3 night stay. I don't know why people say this location is good. There is no place close to buy groceries, or beer, and the closest bar is about 6 blocks away. Hollywood Blvd is close enough to walk, but it's a very long walk. There is a very nice kitchen, but they don't let you us

There were cockroaches in the kitchen and in the dorm, what is more we were bitten by another insects (4 people in my dorm), which were in a bed?! horrible!! the whole week after we should cure skin.

It was a nice hostel to stay in, clean and open and made me feel safe. But there was no character to the staff or the building itself, lifeless compared to most hostels I've stayed in.
