Hands down the best place we stayed at in all of Vietnam. When we arrived they didnt have the specific room we booked because the party occupying it extended their stay because of the festival; At first I thought it was a line but then the manager showed us a n excellent room for a much lower price and we ended up extending our stay as well. They kept the hotel price the same even while all the other hotels increased theirs as we unknowingly arrived during Hue\'s biggest festival. The staff is very attentive and if you engage them in friendly banter then you\'re in for a very good time. Buffet breakfast was delicious and more than adequate. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Tip: if you can brave the crazy 2 wheeled traffic, rent the $2 bicycle. It really makes for an easier sightseeing tour inside the citadel.
Great place to stay. Nobody wants to be sick in a hotel but I was and they took care of me,ordered rice soup, the free DVD helped also and the room was also beautiful.
This is a VERY friendly place to stay. A clean and secure place. Internet in each room. Very friendly and helpful staff. A few points that might lose it would be because I would have prefered it to be a block or two nearer the Citadel; but it's such a little thing that it doesn't matter. We had a great stay; great value for money. We recommend it VERY HIGHLY.

Nice location, comfortable rooms with a few nice little extras (dvd player, dvd selection, free water, internet and fruit basket). Staff were very friendly. Be warned that the rooms aren't sound proof and you can hear people talking and laughing while you sleep and in the morning. Aside from this, the Orchid hotel is lovely and at a good price.
Aurore from FRANCE I highly recommend this hotel. It's a very nice, clean, calm and pleasant hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The location is good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. If I had to go back to Hue I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Extremely nice quality for the money you pay. The hotel offers free bottled water, free fruit, coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast was simple and good with a variety of fresh fruit, breads and cold cuts. They also offer fried rice, noodles and bacon. The best part about the hotel is the free DVDs. They have the most up to date collection of DVDs that people can watch in the room. The staff was amazingly kind and attentive.
