Rooms were very small but very clean. Air-con in room worked well. The mattress on the bed was 'hard'. As long as you are not over 6 foot tall, than for one night it is more than adequate. We stayed here 4 nights. I did not meet anyone who didn't have to change rooms. A friend of mine had to change rooms 3 times during the first 4 nights! Me and my sister booked a 8 bed dorm. We got "upgraded" to a room they consider a triple room, but was in fact a twin: 6 sqm small, the "double bed" was 1,10 m wide. The AC was broken: When we got outside in the morning, the 30 deg C felt like a refreshment. Consider paying a little more and book somewhere else. Opposite our room we saw a rat. we got moved from room to room, and at one stage our door didn't have a handle on it, so unable to lock the room, obviously we were unimpressed with this. The staff though were friendly and more than helpful to get this sorted Karen, from Scotland ~ 8th Oct 2009

The Building is old and ugly. The crowd in and around the Building is annoying. But the location is perfect. Rooms are clean. I sleept very well. So I stayed a week. Mathias, from Germany ~ 16th Jul 2009

The hostel is indeed spartan... but the location cannot be beat. It's close to the pier, the subway, the park, everything. The staff were great and the room was more than sufficient for my purposes. Sarah, from USA ~ 12th Jul 2009

the place is great... and it's very appropriate for guests who aren't quite familiar with the place or those who are first timers in Hongkong... as here almost everything are accessible, the MTR station, bus stops going to and from airport are seconds in walking, even taxis are reachable.. the kowlon park is very near too. but the most important thing, are the crew here that are approchable, accommodating and understands our needs as first time guests here...
