Orsa Maggiore for Women Only in Sangre Grande, Italy

If in search of an economical, safe, and convenient location for a quick stay in Rome, then Orsa Maggiore is your spot. Friendly staff, hospitable environment, and a place with a singular charm. Very "Nun's Story" type of environment. Aside from that, you are also able to meet people going about Roman sites, and buddy up if needed. Lots of English speakers stay there. It was an excellent location - I walked to everything.It was nice having a restaurant downstairs and a courtyard.I had no trouble with internet access and wifi.One of the staffers (the one with curly brown hair - sorry I'm not good with names) was excellent at directing me places and making calls to check whether things would be open since I was there during Easter week. I really liked my stay. The hostel is clean an comfortable, and it is in a nice women's house with a sunny garden. The staff was really helpful and friendly but it was as if there was a tradition for the people there to not speak unless spoken to - so it is not a place for making new friends. This was a nice hostel, good location, with bedbug free beds and clean bathrooms. I would recommend it if you you a hostel just as a place to sleep. It was cosy place with good location and I'd like to mention also nice and very useful, practicale- mail before, which the hostel send me about arriwing at their place, how to get from airport and what transport use till which streets go to. I enjoyed the free computers and Internet, the ability to walk almost everywhere, and for the most part the helpfulness of the staff. However, our room was street side so it was really loud at night. Also the amount owed when checking in was more than what was emailed to me because she made us pay the 10% hostelworld fee. It was only 15 additional euros but since suprising.

It was not the 10% of the Hostelworld fee, but the City Tax and it was 16 euro, not 15!!!!!!
