Staff is very pleasant. The showers and rest rooms are clean. Rooms are warm and it's a good thing when it's snowing outside. There's a TV room and free wireless internet (wifi). This hostel is quite distant from the subway station but it is still in Oslo so it was good enough. Julien, from France ~ 1st Feb 2012

Very clean hostel, with nice atmosphere, although it seems like since its far outside of the city, there aren't a large number of backpackers or travelers, instead there are alot of of Norwegian families who use the hostel like a hotel. If you're looking to meet fellow travelers, you may want to find a hostel closer to city center. Kyle, from USA ~ 14th Sep 2011

It was a little out of the center, but not hard to get to. (I recommend taking the 17 tram - toward Grefsen Stasjon- to Sinsenkrysset and walking through the football field up the hill. I doesn't take that long, it's very cheap, and the hill is not that high.) The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms are safe, clean and comfortable. Great hostel! The bedrooms were clean and spacious. The showers always had hot water. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide choice.Although it's a little outside the city, the 17 tram is2min walk from Central Station and it's just a short (well signposted) walk then to the hostel. The only negative aspect was this walk from the tram because there was a small hill which isn't pleasant when you're carrying heavy bags.Great place to stay and nicer than Anker Hostel which I stayed in too. Breakfast is good. Location is kind of far. Have to climb up a hill. It's closer to the hotel if u take the tram. However, after 12am, u can only take bus 31 and it can be a change to find the hostel... Yuting, from Taiwan ~ 21st Jun 2011

I really loved your hostel. The one we'd stayed in before (in Trondheim) was pretty abysmal, so this one was like an oasis in the desert. It was, however, a little hard to find. The directions from the bus/train station could have been a lot better. We had to take a taxi, and those are pretty pricey in Oslo. Great facility though, really enjoyed my stay.
