Terrible accomodation, very poor check in process. We came back to hostel at evening and discovered that other people are sleeping on our places. So instead of taking our reserved places in women room, we have to sleep in mixed room. Never again this hostel!! Aykanush, from Russia ~ 12th May 2012

Breakfast is included by paying a compulsary premium, very basic, bread rolls, butter, milk & cornflakes + usual hot drinks, best you could get in Venice for3euros but I prefer to be able to opt out. The bar is way overpriced,4euros for 500cl beer. The 'common area' is more like a school dinner hall,no atmosphere, set up of rows of tables & chairs makes meeting people and socialising hard. Worst of all internet access/wifi code is not free, with 1 computer for the whole hostel. 3 euro for 20hr Jacqueline, from England ~ 1st May 2012

Staff not friendly. There wasn't many working power receptacles. Also you have to pay for wifi & left luggage storage. Brett, from Canada ~ 18th Apr 2012

Hate when the lights turn on automatically in the morning at 8 o'clock and then you cant go to the rooms for a couple of hours. Bathroom are dirty. Staff not friendy. No fun. Also you have to pay 3 euros for wifi and you can only use it for a period of time. To get to the hostel you have to pay 6.5 euros and to go to the center the same price. Its an ok location, theres a great pizza shop down the street, but you h,ave to take a boat to get to St Marks or pretty much anywhere. The staff was nice and friendly and the breakfast was fine for being free. The place was clean, the only bad part is that it gets pretty loud at night.I just wear headphones, but the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling, so I could hear snoring/talking two rooms down in the middle of the night.Lots of people had problems, but I would just buy earplugs or hea Scott, from USA ~ 2nd Oct 2011

It is a little bit far away from the city centre but in summer, it's the only hotel we can find. The breakfast starts early and it's nice. You can use wireless, but it is not free. There are also PCs you can use. The hotel environment is also good. There are many people you can talk. They take extra fee(1-2€) for their membership and it is a must. The place is clean, and safe, and breakfast is plentifull, but they charge money for things that most hostels don't, wi fi internet is 3 euros!!! and if you want to leave your luggage for a few hours the day you're leaving it's 2.5 euros!!! It's cheaper than all other hostels in Venice, I guess why so many people accept to stay here, even though it's not in the main island group (you need a vaporetto to get there). So price of the vaporetto, plus all the extras, (including 3 euros if you're not Victoria, from Italy ~ 30th Aug 2011

This hostel is pretty basic, but hits the mark on the most important things - location and cleanliness. Positives: Helpful staff, very clean, good location, good price Negatives: Bed was pretty uncomfortable due to a large dip on one side, no AC, no kitchen for use, Wi-Fi was irregular at best. Overall a good experience, and I would definitely stay here again! EMILY, from USA ~ 27th Aug 2011
