Well, it is really too noisy to live here...and the bus is not so good, they always late, 20min or even more...even I cannot believe that I cannot use anything in the hostel and it is really uncomfortable to us. MIN, from China ~ 4th Sep 2009

The location is a bit far but the view from the hostel makes up for it. But if you are light sleeper, there is a church bell that rings all through the night. jessica, from USA ~ 28th Oct 2009

The first guy I met at the reception was awesome, very welcoming, talked to me about Cinque Terre, where to go etc., set up a movie for me upstairs, very pleasant. The second guy I met was really rude to me and others. He said I can't do laundry then told someone after me she can. Ultimately I did laundry and when the dryer burnt my shirt he got mad at me for asking about it. He seemed to generally be intolerant of people. But otherwise great experience, the restaurant down the street was o Jennifer, from Canada ~ 22nd Aug 2009

Excellent Hostel - stayed 3 nights with teenage daughter.Bus to Cinque Terre outside front door and well worth the ride - very scenic.VERY clean, secure and staff friendly and helpful.Little village of Biassa lovely and quaint although the church bell tower LOVES to ring its bells!but we found this added to atmosphere of staying in little village. All-in-all would stay again at this hostel in a heartbeat! Carol, from New Zealand ~ 20th Aug 2009

Biassa is about 6-8 km away from the La Spezia Train Station, but you can get there after a 30 min walk and and 20 min bus ride you finally get there. It's in a small town, but it has a great view of the valley and La Spezia. And it's very convenient to have a bus that goes to Riomaggiore and back, but DO NOT miss the bus back. Very remote. The town it is in has one restaraunt and one bar. The hostel has a 1am curfew. Treated like you are a little kid. Very remote, so if you want to get away its perfect, but not much to do aside from sleep. I would rather stay in 1 of the 5 towns Derek, from USA ~ 27th Jun 2009

This is a great hostel! The view is breath taking, the town is small and wonderful, and the transportation to Cinque Terre and La Spezia is excellent. I would highly recommend this hostel over all the others in the area. :) Hannah, from USA ~ 18th Jun 2009

This hostel is a little secluded, so there is not much to do in town. It is peaceful and quiet in Biazza--quiet hours at the hostel start at 11 and curfew is 1 am, so there is no place to hang out after that. The office is closed from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, which is inconvenient if you want to use the luggage room during those times. Kari, from USA ~ 22nd Jun 2009

Only complaint is that the last bus up to the hostel is at 8 PM, so dinner in one of the Cinque Terre towns is only possible if you're willing to use a taxi. But Biassa itself has wonderful character and a great pizza place! Jaclyn, from USA ~ 8th Jul 2009
