It was clean, warm, and very comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly, there were lockers for valuables, and the sheets they gave us were very...colorful! This hostel had a very nice feel to it- probably because it was quite small, and had a nice communal area. The staff were nice and helpful, the rooms comfy. I d say the bathrooms werent as clean as they could have been but other than that, great place! I would definitely go back. Anna, from France ~ 15th Sep 2009

Very nice hostel in the heart of ottawas downtown. location is really perfect for nightlife and even sightseeing at daytime. rooms are okay, if you just need to sleep there....not much space. bad thing: just 4 single washrooms for about 30-40 people. mornings usually are connected to a long waiting time... but, i'd recommend it everytime, though! I loved this place. Totally friendly and accepting atmosphere. Everyone was talking and bonding, staff was awesome! No language barrier issues. You are free to party, but they make sure people remain respectful of others sleeping. Nice back and front porches to hang out on and have dinner. Good kitchen, living room with bunches of couches and cable. Clean bathrooms, no AC but has fans. Parking is a little tight, but cheap ($7) right behind the house. I only stayed a day but its in a good location, staff are friendly and its clean. I didnt want to go out but the atmosphere seemed good! No locks so security a bit poor and internet is only one computer which they actually use for hostel use. Overall good though Neville, from England ~ 19th Jul 2009
