Was ok - But not more than that. I choosed it b/c of their good rating. But the sleeping room smells / only two small windows for 4 rooms (the rooms are combined). The common area is way to small. the wifi is very unreliable. This hostel ist overrated. The staff is helpfull but some of them are a bit strange. Overall is this hostel ok but not good.

The hostel served a purpose and the location is prett6y central. Didn\'t like the fact there were no doors which made privacy quite difficult but then this is a hostel so you get what you paid for. The staff were friendly enough but think they change quite a bit. Was fairly quiet during my stay so the atmosphere wasn\'t exactly kicking. Would stay again if I had to but would prefer somewhere a bit more private.

There's a whole staff group that takes turns in being on duty. But all of them are hanging out in the common room, there is always someone to chat and they all know the area pretty well. They can give you lots of recommendations plus will take you out to do fun stuff. We liked to buy cheep food in China town (5 min) and cook at the hostel. I recommend to bring a lock for the lockers under the bed. They are nice and huge! So you can just stuff your stuff under the bed and lock the door. Much be

nice little clean hostel at a great location. The staff is friendly and the only thing u really could complain about is that they should but up a bigger sign so u find it more easily. I would pass the door 4 times b4 i found (but then i just had gotten the street name and not the number thinking that I would spot it)

That was my fist time at a Hostel and a very good experience. Nice place to stay in SF. Cool people and night activits, like bar and karaoke.

This place definitely has the homey vibe that others describe. The bathroom situation kinda sucks. Up to 16 people sharing 1 toilet might make for difficult mornings.

Amazing location-- Chinatown North Beach, Downtown all walking distance. One of the friendliest & helpful staffs I've ever come across. Clean, homey atmosphere-- this is my new Sf home!

If I ever travel to San Francisco again I will definatly come back to experiance this hostel again. The only bad thing that makes it a good thing is that its a little difficult to find but the reason is that they just do not want anyone staying at this hostel pure just travelers. I loved this place from the moment I checked in where they had a cup of water waiting for me as I walked up the 5 flight of stairs to the walk to the front door to say good bye. The location couldn't be any bet
