Paddy\'s Palace was a good, cheap place to spend the night. The breakfast was basic, but it was included, they had free wifi and free internet access at two computers. The common room is nice, and kitchen facilities are available as well. There isn\'t really a good sign for the hostel itself, you just kind of have to find the green door on the corner and knock. I have stayed at various hotels & hostels throughout the Uk & on the mainland Europe. I have found the staff Incredible helpful at paddys palace belfast, with thier tourist information & the paddy tours I can recomend 2 anyone, they really do capture the history of the place from the murals in derry & belfast to the Giants causeway & the pretty countryside, It is clean which is a must, from the rooms to the kitchens & dinning rooms & so close 2 the heart of the city, Great atmosphere A+ Mark, from Australia ~ 9th Mar 2009

Not impressed. Not clean, old and run down. You can only check in until 10 on the weekends and they have the doors locked so when everyone comes home from the bar drunk and can't find their key, they ring the doorbell continuously and you can hear it throughout the house. And all the common areas close at 11:30 which is frustrating when all you want to do it relax and watch tv. I wouldn't go back or recommend it. But I would recommend the Paddy's Tour, it was great! Had an absolute blast, the staff were great and everyone staying there was nice. It's a little out of town, but it is really well priced. Security is nonexistent, but everyone there was cool so I was never worried about losing anything. Recommanded. Matthew, from Australia ~ 17th Nov 2008

People where really nice and staff was easy going. Can be hard to find the staff though. Had to catch a bus and nobody was in the office or anywhere to be found!! - made it though. The door in the doorm room was never locked, which I guess was ok since we where more poeple together with only one key. But not very secure. A safe place to put valuables would be nice. Love the kithen and common area. Good place to meet people. Camilla Skov, from Denmark ~ 10th Nov 2008
