  • The only bright thing is location (near Queens university and botanic gardens). That accomodation is appropriate for students and less for couples as we are. There was no warm watter, we have got a wrong kee for entrance so we were locked out (fortunately that happend early in the morning as we have made a morning walk. I rather hot immagine what would happen if we would go out in the evening... We had to wait for breakfast till eight in the mornong although it was promissed for seven...

  • Very good place, one of the best hostels I've ever visited! The staff was very nice, and the cleanliness was quite good. Very close to the Ulster Museum and the Botanic Garden, and also near to the Europa Bus Station.

  • my first impression was to kill anybody who would eventually answer the door but they were lucky nobody answered. we waited for a half an hour banging at the door which showed 68, lisburn road but noone answered. i tried to ring the hostel but 1 number was missing in the phone number but that might be my fault. i finally decied to go to knock at the next door which was i can't remember, they said to try the 70, lisburn road. i was surprised when i knocked at that door someone unwelcomingly said

  • It was pretty annoying that no one replied to my mail. Friends of mine didn't get any reply either. Also, I booked the hostel for 2 nights because I wanted to get the free trip to the Giants Causeway as said on the hostel.com site, but when we arrived it turned out that this offer is not valid for the weekend. We were very dissappointed.

  • The room where located just beside the toilet which means we could hear everybody all night The place was not clean at all. The beds was filthy and my pillow smelled perfume. The staff was not easy to find and it took us around an hour to check-in. They did not accept card so we had to go and get cash.

  • Couple of thngs which forced me to go for low rating,1st of all wrong information,it was given in the site that if anyone books room for 2 night that person will get that 3 point tour(giant causaway & 2 others) for free but it was not mentioned that its not applicable on weekends. I didnot get any reply of my email asking about this, otherwise shouldnot have booked 2 nights. They could not even arrange anything for us for the tour even, their version was like we didnot book the tour.

  • Just awful ! They were repainting the house in the middle of August, without having warned ! The smell was unbearable and we even couldn't open the window. The so-called "managers" simply answered they can't do anything - while keeping on eating their sandwich. Of course, the conversation became unfriendly and we decided not to sleep there. We lost money i am not sure to get back, event if I shall try hard. So, don't go to Paddy's Palace !

  • A good hostel, mostly clean although kitchen was spoilt by slobs who doen't know how to was up. Quite a way out of the city, a bus ride. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would I go there again? Probably not.

  • HORRIBLE!!! -dirtiest hostel ever! -no toilet paper! -4 of 5 toilets broken -stains on floor, bed, curtains -carpet filthy -unprofessional staff -front door left open all day/late at night -staff was late 3/4 days opening kitchen in morning When booked we were told it was a HOT breakfast - there was hardly anything, and it was all cold. Poor selection - some bread and some cereals all which ran out within a half hour. FREE tour was TRASH - does not include entry -£21 total JIP!

  • Very dirty hostel, the worst I have stayed in. Showers were broken and very dirty. Room's were cramped and also very dirty. Not enough plates, bowls and mugs for everyone at breakfast time either. Luckily the staff were very friendly and helpful but overall not a good experience.

  • This was the dirtiest hostel I have ever stayed in. The roof leaked into the rooms when it rained, the floors in the bedrooms and bathrooms looked like they had never been cleaned and there wasnt any soap at the handwashing stations. The two guys running it were friendly enough, but they clearly werent mature enough to be running the place. I stayed there because it was the cheapest place, but I would have gladly paid 2 pounds more and had a hot shower which actually worked.
