Try to get a room in the reel Paddys and not in ISAAC, because the rooms and especially the security is much better. Cortina, from Germany ~ 4th Sep 2009

No lockers in the room is a pain, but the location and free airport bus are excellent Andrew, from England ~ 27th Jul 2009

Hostel.com: Pirates that show you a price and then charge you another. Then they stop answering my e-mails when I send them screen images of the scam, like showing a total price of 48 euros for 2 nights/2 people and then when you clic on 'Book now' they change the price to 64 Euros. Be aware. Paddy's Palace was OK daniela, from Argentina ~ 27th Jul 2009

the room was very very very small, just like a cupboard. there wasn't any wardrobe or drowers to put our things. no towels were provided. there were open wires out of the walls. the room and also the linen was dirty. the window couldn't be opened and there were not sthutters, only a thin courtain that let the light in. the shower of our floor was out of order. I think security is very good. Staff at desk was very friendly. It is a little loud at night because of noise of public transport. In my case, I do not have problem. If your do not sleep like a log, think twice! Alfredo Jesus, from Costa Rica ~ 12th Jul 2009

Location, Location, Location! Awesome hostel! A great set-up, and free breakfast to boot. The staff was really helpful with answering questions. Minutes from wherever you want to be in Dublin, and a quick access to really fun multi and single day trips. Trip staff was also wonderful and full of interesting tidbits o' information. Cheers! We shared the dorm in the basement and all the coming and going upstairs was LOUD. Location and all else was very good, but receptionist was crabby our first night. She was completely unhelpful about parking, which turned out was a parking lot across the street. Sheesh. I won't go back. Kathy, from USA ~ 21st May 2009

Paddys palace is fairly newly renovated hostel, with spacious rooms and ensuite bathroom. Our room was in the second building (red door) and was nice and also wasnt noisy. Staff also has to personally check who you are and let you in to the outside door after hours. Also paddywagon tours are awesome!!! Loved it! Angela, from Australia ~ 21st May 2009
