It was your average hostel. You pay for towels and the front desk staff is gone by 7pm.The rooms were small and bare bones but clean. Marie, from USA ~ 8th Aug 2011

i go to ennis and doolin almost every year. they are beautiful, of course, but its the warmth and friendship i get at hostels in both places from the proprieters. in doolin it is absolutely paddy's doolin hostel. dave, who runs the place, with able assist staff. the showers are warm, the rooms great. and if location means ANYTHING, this place is the best.,,oh yeah, and the cows are very entertaining... david, from USA ~ 9th Jul 2011

We had a great time at Paddy's, the only recommendation I would say is to fix some of the windows, our first night had a broken window that would not close. luckily it didn't rain. Our 2nd night was perfect, we had a great room. David was SO friendly and accommodating. Paddy was also very friendly. This hostel was near everything we needed. Very happy.
