  • Beautiful location with wonderful view upon the city, very well connected with the city center, quite place with a lot of families with children and nice people. We really enjoyed our stay and we would choose it again!

  • This place is AMAZING if you want the perfect view and don't mind a hike up a big hill (unless you're the public transport type). We walked everywhere and used the free city bike system. Also, on the way to this place (via foot) is the best wine/view/pork leg in town for the best price! The hostel itself was normal--kind of a boring loungey area where no one very friendly sat but that could have just been when we were there. For the price and view it rocked!

  • Good, cheap, quite hostel. Bit hard to find. It's to the left of the huge hotel same ground. (Palace hostel is translated from german Schlossherberge! Look for this)

  • Very good view looking upon Vienna, the room we slept in was nice and clean and had the great view. The staff is good and helpful, the only negative thing was the breakfast, but I think it's okay for a hostel, but it can be better.

  • I loved my stay here!! The location is a bit far but the view is amazing, it's on the same property as a castle, and I met some really amazing people. If you're taking the subway and then a bus, make sure you get on the bus (46B or 146B) and not the tram (46). I was wondering around for a couple hours. The breakfast is nothing to write home about but it's free so who cares! Other than that, from the moment I walked in the door, my stay was flawless! I definitely recommend this hostel.

  • This hostel was very clean. Beds were average. The lockers in the room were very sturdy. The bathroom was clean, but small. It is about a 20 minute subway/bus ride from the city center, but it is easy to find and has a great view of Vienna. Breakfast was good, but nothing special. People at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

  • Poor experience overall. We had booked more nights but stayed one night only. Bedroom not clean, mattress and bed linen stained, bed structure dusty. Unfriendly staff. The room was freezing at night. Wifi is only available in common areas and signal very low. Breakfast was very poor too. Never again! We are used to stay in youth hostels but this looks rather like a budget hotel! Stay in the city centre instead!
