Really not near anything of note, but also a fine place to sleep as you explore Panama City. Has air conditioning in the dorms (kind of rare here!), as well as an exceptionally functional kitchen, and I met a number of really great people there. No hot water, but after this kind of heat, you can't really complain. Plenty stairs to get up to the reception/some of the dorms. Filtered water was a nice touch. Austin, from USA ~ 12th Apr 2012

It was a nice little hostel they have a bunch of different types of accommodations: dorm rooms, privates, etc. Luis is a really nice, helpful, and informative guy. He gives you good suggestions and takes pride in his hostel. Just make sure you turn on the air conditioning/fans at night because if not, you'll roast! Christopher, from USA ~ 1st Mar 2012

The hostel located 15 minutes of walking from the main mall of Panama city, very close to great resutrants and to 24 hours super market, and exept all this, Luis and his stuff are very kind and helpfull, the hostel has great club and fast internet, this is our home in panama city! I loved staying at Panama by Luis.The staff is very friendly and it is located in a safe neighborhood.I stayed in a single room that was clean, comfortable, and quiet.There are opportunities to socialize in the evenings in the back.
