We LOVED Panorama Hostel! The hostel is a beautiful villa overlooking the sea, and we were so lucky to stay there. It is a great set-up (apartment style with kitchen) because you get to meet lots of interesting people, but you also have privacy. The staff was WONDERFUL and quite helpful (thanks for all the chocolate! : )

Long and hard trek to get to but well worth it as the walk is lovely and the views are fantastic. Long walk to nicer parts of the area such as piran but again enjoyable. Hostel is modern and hasnt got much character but the surroundings and views are amazing.

By far THE BEST place we've stayed during our 3-week eurotrip. Beautiful villa/house in a marvellous remote location on top of a hill overlooking the sea. Staff is simply wonderful!! We got a huge apartment for ourselves with a stove, air conditioner, all cookware, and a huge veranda with an astounding view!! Food market is a 5min walk. Great beach 15 min away. Window blinds would be nice. Thank you very much for an AWESOME time in Slovenia!! Definitely coming back!

We had a great stay! The owner is an interesting person, great traveller and very fond of Middle East trips. He gave us a good piece of advice. We have been delighted to know him. Location is charming too.

Great place to stay. Highly highly recommended. Brilliant views, brilliant rooms, brilliant price. Ask the manager to do you a seafood BBC. Best octopus I've ever had.

Great!I\'d recomend it to everybody.Martin Julia are really kind and make you feel at home. Our rooms were brand new and very clean,a big balcony with great view. The place is not easy to find but Martin picked us in Piran. Would even recomend to ask him to prepare bbq, Great! Big thanks from all 7 of us! Michele 23-25 May 2008 PS:Don\'t go around by car at night.. police is very tough:just take a taxi (there are big ones for 10/12 people) that cost 10 euro to get in center.

What an AWESOME place to stay! Incredible view of 3 countries (including snow covered Italian mountains). Martin came down to meet us in his car, was incredibly helpful and even built the campfire for some drinks and relaxing looking out over Slovenia and Croatia. Super clean place - best night sleep I\'ve had in a hostel probably ever!

My recent stay at the Panorama Residence was simply amazing. The hostel itself is located on top of a hill with breathtaking views of Portoroz. A quick hike takes you to the nearby towns. The friendliness of the staff as well as their willingness to go above and beyond what is expected in assisting you will turn your weekend into the trip of a lifetime. Your stay at the Panorama Residence will leave you wondering if it's really a hostel or an all inclusive resort.
