The Chungking mansions is a revolting cesspool of seedy characters and sordd living. I was revolted by most things about this guest house and the building. The worst thing is the noise, my neighbors at the Paris guesthouse were having sex constantly with prostitutes and screaming at eah other at 1, 2, 3am...I was always being woken up. 2. Everytime I opened my door I saw some really gross man in his underwear scratching his crotch or telling me "how he likes to f*ck" 3. It smells really JARRAD, from USA ~ 20th Nov 2009

Found this guesthouse very clean and professionally run. Tv and fridge in my room as well as a kettle which was a nice touch. No problems with security and the staff Sono and Ricky were happy to help in any way they could Paul, from Australia ~ 5th Nov 2009

Don't be scare with the first impression that the chungking mansion building, be sure to have reservation before arrival, you like this place if you like cultural diversity, clean rooms except for those little antz, but nothing to be scared of, the best is the helpfull staff, tranquility, and close to To all transportation... I strongly recommend staying at Paris Guesthouse. The owner and the staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean, the sheets and towels were changed every day! Very convinent located close to subway and airport busses. Chung King Mansions was not at all as bad as I heared, the hustelers were really not bothering at all! I would defenitly stay here again. room was on the small side, but adequate for our needs. The staff was very friendly and always made sure we had what we needed. location in the city was very good and made it easy to get around. we saw a few ants in the corner of our room, but they didn't bother us and the overall cleanliness was good. Was a very convenient place to stay. We were not actually put in the Paris Guest House but another they owned - this didn't seem to matter. Staff were friendly and was a good place to stay. No complaints. Aidan, from England ~ 3rd Oct 2009

What a bargain...right in the heart of HK. Tiny place but you really can't complain...I thoight I was sharing with others but it was my own room with TV,aircon etc. Very helpful family-run businness. One son even dragged my suitcase to the bustop for me! Chrstine, from Australia ~ 4th Oct 2009
