Alunperin minun piti viettää hotellissa viikko, mutta viivyinkin valitettavasti vain neljä päivää. Hotellin työntekijät olivat erityisen huolehtivaisia ja miellyttäviä, huone oli hintaansa nähden hyvä ja aamiaisellakin sai vatsansa täyteen. Kiitos mukavasta majoituksesta! The hotel itself was fine, the room had a private bathroom but the WC was stuck and no hot water available. Besides that it was ok and clean considering the price is really cheap. If you got some flesh on your bones, it may be difficult to get pass the sink and the toilet to get to the shower (twin room). We did not feel like guests at a hotel, but rather as hobos. The door was in the process of disintegrating from rust and had a hole already. The lights were off in our floor. No airconditioning or fan, but luckely windows. We LOVED this place. The lobby is filled with turkish carpets, downstairs is a charming little bar where you can have a waterpipe or a glass of raki. Our room was a few flights up and there are NO elevators, but the view of the bosporus out the window was magnificent. The staff treats you like family. And it's just 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque or the Great Bazaar. Even the free breakfasts were wonderful: fresh cucumber, tomatoes and olives, bread, and hard-boiled egg and apple tea helen, from USA ~ 10th Sep 2009

Great place, has internet, in Sultanamet so close to all main attractions, close to tram line which links to train and ferries. My partner got sick on last day when we just had our bags stored to catch o/night train and they let her use room to lay down free of charge. Oktay in bar downstairs is cool - try to waterpipes - best in town with genuine Nutli tobacco from Egypt (very hard to get out of Egypt). Nice view from balcony up top. The staff at Paris are very friendly and provide excellent service, I stayed here twice and the second time felt like I was visiting friends. Oktay's cellar bar is the best in town!!! Breakfast is great and the location cant be beat for the local attractions. Only downside was the hot water for showers, sometimes there wasnt any but it wasnt a big deal. Overall a fantastic hostel with friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend the Paris. Barry, from England ~ 31st Aug 2009
