For a female travelling on her own didnt feel very safe at this location as it was very open and anyone could walk into the place. You had to either take a bus (came every 20 mins) or a taxi ($8-10)to get into the city so it is a bit out of the way.

The staff were wonderful - Every time I needed assistance with booking tours, airport shuttles, or figuring out Darwin's bus schedule, they were there to aid me. It is a great place to stay if you like having your own room at a budget price, and are looking for a quiet place away from the party atmosphere of most hostels. I enjoyed my time there very much.

Location is the only downside of this lodge. It is not 15 minutes from downtown, it is actually a 30+ minute walk. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Good value for money..

we really enjoyed our stay at Park Lodge. It is not very far from the town centre and it is simple but clean. I would recommend it! the owners are very friendly and willing to help you if you need an advice.
