The person at the front desk offered us at 100 pound private car to Cairo after our stay. He gave our money to a man who spoke no English, took us to the bus station, bought our tickets, pocketed the change (40 pounds or so) and left. That was pretty dissapointing.

I love Penguin Village- the staff were so friendly and helpful. I traveled all over Egypt and this was definatley my favorite place! Anyone would be crazy to pass this place up!!

Great location but dirty, under construction and not very helpfull staff. It shouldn't be listed as a hostel because it is budget hotel.

Great location, staff very friendly and helpful, great prices, shared bathrooms fairly clean most times-free toilet paper and towels, great for budget travels - breakfast not included

Llegamos a penguin con pocas expectativas y quedamos sorprendidos con el lugar, es increible, muy lindo y muy confortable.
desde el principio fuimos muy bien recibidos y Emad el gerente nos invito te y nos organizo un viaje muy bueno por el cairo y luxor.
el lugar es muy recomendable, por la comodidad y buen servicio que ofrecen y por sobre todo por la calidez de la atencion.

Szczególnie polecam go turystom z Polski, ponieważ poczują się tam naprawdę jak u siebie w domu, tyle, że w super egzotycznym miejscu. A wszystko to dzięki wrodzonemu talentowi Emada - tudzież manager'a tegoż hotelu - do bycia "duszą towarzystwa".
