Very nice place where spending a relaxing journey. Central position, in the heart of the fisher-town, just a few steps from the promenade. The 4-beds room is a little spaceless, but the building is very nice and it has a complete kitchen and a beautifull roof terrace. Alessandro, from Italy ~ 25th Aug 2011

this a pension it's not a hostel!! so they give you a room with no lockers, you don't have wi-fi service and no washer! they have also made a little mistake with our bookings but they have given us two beds in one room, at the end. they don't have credit card payment service even if they are a pension! but it's central, clean and really near to the dock where you can get the boat to the isles. I think olhao (8 km from faro) is better than faro to go to the isles because boat's departures are mor sara, from Italy ~ 7th Aug 2011

Pension Bicuar is one of the best hostels I stayed. All staff is very friendly and kind. Especially I love the rooftop which has a beautiful view, and you can meet many other travellers from all over the world. 100% recommend! Ran, from South Korea ~ 17th Jul 2011

The location is a bit out of Faro centrum, but it's actually a really nice place for a pension. The surroundings are very local, and it's real close to the harbour where boats go regularly to the islands. The new owner, Jeff from Australia, really makes this place worthwhile. He's very friendly and charming. Very bad wireless signal in the first floor though, couldn't get access in my room with several devices. Oh, and the terrace on the roof is a great place to be in the evenings. Kjartan, from Norway ~ 29th Jun 2011
