We booked a mixed dorm but ended up with a twin room so can\'t complain! The place is more like a B&B without the breakfast but is very clean and in an excellent location, right near the busy clubs. The staff do not speak English but were very friendly!

The pension is very clean and in good location. However, it was very noisy (all the noise coming from outside) as it is located in the old town and above a busy bar open till early morning. Note, that accommodation does not have a kitchen or a common room and staff do not speak a word of English. It is just a corridor with rooms on one side and bathrooms on the other with nowhere to meet your fellow travellers or to make a cup of tea.

Apart from there being no one at the pension to check us in when we arrived at the place it was nice and clean and very secure.

We stayed in a very nice older woman's home. obviously not a place to stay if you are hoping to socialize with other tourists.

Nothing as such organised within the hostel for guests by the owners, but the property is so central in San Sebastian's old town (i.e. proximity to bars and clubs) that this doesn't really matter!

The owners were so so friendly, they really went out of their way to accomodate us. they tore their house half adsunder to find a phone charger for us, such nice people

Stay somewhere else. We had two rooms booked... Cannot be legal to let rooms like this - dirty, damp, sheets weren't clean - One of our rooms didn't even lock! Stay somewhere else - DO NOT RISK IT

DO NOT STAY HERE! We had two rooms booked. - Turns out they were in seperate buildings. BOTH turned out to be absolutley junk. We stay in hostels all the time and I wouldn't let my dog stay here. We ended up finding a hotel for the night after the guy made us pay up front for the first night... so we lost 100 Euro. Trust me - find somewhere else to stay, these guys a dodgy!
