We really advice us to go in this nice Pension where you will meet lovely people and quiet place. Good opportunities to organize nice trips everywhere in Egypt. Don't hesitate to come there.

Hi together, let me say, I can only recommend Hostel Vienna! The hostel team around Mr. Ramadan are very nice and friendly; They really try to make your stay a great time and if you need any support they help you without extra charge!! If you need a driver for a day, they organize one for you. The rooms are very clean and nice furnished. I stayed at the hostel for a whole month, so I asked also the cleaning lady to wash my clothes who was very nice and after a day my clothes were clean & ironed. Further more they offer tours e.g. to the dessert for a fair price and very good organization. The location is in the downtown and just beside you have places to buy fruits or a nice bakery. Finally I think what is very improtant, the hostel is safe.

I have stayed here for over a month. What I appreciate is cleanness (not only the rooms), nice staff, hot water (u wait max. 15sec).Breakfast is typically (bread, marmelade, butter and tea or coffee). I have had my own shower and toilet, but the shared one is very clean, so if u r thinking of booking a room with shared toilet, u do not have to be scared. The position is unique. There is very good

Friendly staff, and a really useful free pick up. Only 5 mins walk to the museum and all the shops.

The rooms are clean and quite nice for the price, but contrary to what the website says only the double rooms have a/c -- single rooms just have a big fan. Also, don't get roped into the trip to the pyramids with the hotel driver... Way overpriced.

Great location in downtown Cairo, close to the Nile, the Egyptian Museum, and many shops and restaurants. Safe and modest accommodations. Showers and A/C in private rooms are great. The people running the hostel are wonderful and helpful, but do your homework as they can be too helpful and want to book all your sightseeing and sometimes you could be just as well on your own. Low budget travelers will be happy, you feel like family when you leave.

It is a good hostel for low budget travelers. Hostel have a good location and a staff is a friendly and helpful. What is a missing is a club room where you can chat with oters and exange experince. Private bathroom is recomended.
