The kitchen had an electronic kettle, a fridge and that was it. The shower trickled and was a handle that couldn't be mounted. If you plan on being out later than midnight on a weekday, you should plan to do some hiking from a bus stop. Jeremy, from USA ~ 25th May 2012

Highly recommended! The location is outside the city center but easily accessible by Metro (a 2-minute walk from the Opatov station). The house is very clean with excellent privacy, and the stay is MUCH CHEAPER than ANY OTHER hostel in Prague. The lady who runs the house does not speak much English so asking for special requests might be tough (it helped that I spoke Czech). She is extremely accomodating though - she let us check in very early, and stored our luggage FOR FREE for an extra day. Darina, from USA ~ 8th Sep 2011

It's outside of the main city, but adjacent to a metro station. The woman who runs the hostel barely speaks any English just ask her for a map for day planning in the city. The wifi is inconsistent, but don't bother asking. The neighborhood is a bit creepy, but the hostel itself is cozy.Tip: If you stay here, your key for the front door DOES work, you just have turn it allll the way to the right, and then turn the key past that when you can't turn it anymore (we thought we were locked out).
