- “ Fantastic Hostel! Big and clean, with extremely friendly staff and delicious cheap meals. The hostel is just a couple minutes from the train station, which makes it very easy to get to and great for walking all over the High Tatras. You can walk from the doorstep or jump on the train, which is very cheap and takes you to the bottom of all the best mountains. Incredible walking - I was there at the end of October, with snow on all the mountains; perfect. I would definitely recommend it. ”

- “ Great place even out of season. Very clean rooms and bathrooms, good cheap breakfasts, dinners, and beers. Bus stops right out front or walk 12 minutes to Stary Smokovec TEZ train station. ”

- “ We stayed Jan 2012 to ski. Pension is 2 min walk from free ski bus, train and Intersport rental shop (Intersport had v. good equipment + prices, I thought). 10-15 min walk to restaurants etc in Stary Smokovec. Proprietors were helpful + breakfast was good for 3 euro. Would recommend. ”
